South Sea Cruises Group (SSCG) is proud to announce the launch of Fiji’s largest ever new-build fast ferry, the 30m Yasawa Flyer III. SSCG appointed a leading design & build company, Aus Ships Group, based in Brisbane, to deliver this custom-designed fast ferry for delivery in mid-2025.
The Yasawa Flyer III, with a capacity of 320 passengers, will carry 33% more people than the current Yasawa Flyer II. The additional capacity will better support the ever-increasing popularity and growing tourism demand to the majestic Yasawa Islands across all tourism sectors, including Resort Transfers, Day Trips, and Awesome Adventures Fiji, and better support the local villages and communities within the Yasawa Islands.

Yasawa Flyer III was completed in July 2025, and is in service from 25 August 2025.
