Fiji's first dedicated
Electric Coaches launching October 2026
South Sea Cruises Group, in collaboration with its appointed ground transportation operator, Tour Managers, is excited to welcome the first of two brand-new, fully electric coaches, with services commencing in October 2026.
Under the arrangement, the 50-seat electric coaches are owned and operated by Tour Managers and will provide year-round ground transportation services for South Sea Cruises Group to and from Port Denarau.
Both coaches are branded in recognisable South Sea Cruises Group livery, making them easy for day-trip and resort-transfer customers to identify when being picked up from or dropped off at their respective hotels and resorts in the Nadi and Denarau areas.
Importantly, the introduction of these coaches reflects both the shared commitment of South Sea Cruises Group and Tour Managers to increasing sustainability efforts, whilst continuing to provide customers with safe, reliable and high-quality ground transportation services. With zero emissions and significantly lower noise levels, the electric coaches will deliver an overall better experience when operating within hotel and resort premises and whilst idle at Port Denarau.

In addition, Damend Gounder, Managing Director of Tour Managers’ parent company, Kimaya Fiji, stated: “These electric coaches represent not only an investment in Fiji’s future but also a new phase in a long-standing coaching partnership between South Sea Cruises Group and Tour Managers that dates back nearly 20 years.” Mr Gounder further stated: “These first two electric coaches are just the beginning of an extensive fleet replacement programme across the South Sea Cruises Group and Tour Managers branded fleets.”
