Senior People & Culture Business Partner

Role Overview

South Sea Cruises Group (SSCG) is Fiji's most experienced and award-winning marine tourism operator offering a range of award winning products and services throughout the stunning Mamanuca and Yasawa Islands. SSCG operates a modern fleet of fast catamarans, an overnight cruise ship, a modern sailing catamaran, and an array of smaller vessels. SSCG also operates Fiji's two most popular day trip islands.

The Senior People & Culture Business Partner will work closely with GM People & Culture to deliver people strategies supported by strong HR analytics, insights & reporting. A key focus is leading learning & development initiatives, building leadership capability & strengthening internal talent pipelines. 

​

Key Responsibilities:

1) Manage employee life cycle including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, 
    benefits, uniforms & compliance with Fiji Labour Laws.
2) Drive HR data integrity & analytics through HRIS management, dashboards, work
    force metrics & insights to support leadership decision making.                                  
3) Execute talent succession & learning initiatives including apprenticeship programs.

Role Requirements:

1) Degree in HR, Business, or a related discipline with proven senior HR Business
    Partner experience in a complex, multi-site environment.
2) Strong data and analytical capability, with experience in HRIS reporting, dashboards, 
    workforce analytics and translating data into strategic insights.
3) Strong knowledge of Fiji employment legislation,ER,payroll governance & compliance
