Role Overview
South Sea Cruises Group (SSCG) is Fiji's most experienced and award-winning marine tourism operator offering a range of award winning products and services throughout the stunning Mamanuca and Yasawa Islands. SSCG operates a modern fleet of fast catamarans, an overnight cruise ship, a modern sailing catamaran, and an array of smaller vessels. SSCG also operates Fiji's two most popular day trip islands.
The Company Chief Engineer is a senior leadership role responsible for the reliability,safety & performance of all marine, island & shore-based assets across the South SeaCruises Group. Reporting directly to the CEO, the role leads the EngineeringDepartment and contributes at a senior management level.
Key Responsibilities:
1) Lead & manage engineering operations across fleet, islands & shore assets.
2) Drive preventative maintenance & risk management programs.
3) Manage engineering budgets, critical spares & supplier relationships.
4) Provide technical leadership and operational advice to senior management.
Role Requirements:
1) Extensive international senior-level experience in marine & diesel engineering acrosscomplex multi asset operation.
2) Proven leadership across diverse engineering teams, standards & regulatory setting.
3) Proven capability to design, implement & govern engineering systems, standards &compliance frameworks across geographically dispersed operations.
